Should I choose a Sliding Gate or a Swing Gate?
It depends on your driveway space. Sliding gates are best for steep driveways or tight spaces where you need maximum parking. Swing gates are elegant but require flat ground and room to open inward. We can assess your LA property to recommend the safest option.
Will the gate rust near the ocean (Santa Monica/Malibu)?
Salt air is tough on steel. For coastal homes, we highly recommend Aluminum Gates, which are naturally rust-proof. If you prefer the weight of steel, we use a specialized Zinc Primer + Powder Coat process that seals the metal against corrosion for years longer than standard paint.
Do you install the motors and access controls?
Yes. We are a full-service installer. We install top-tier motors from LiftMaster and Viking. We also handle the accessories: keypad entry, safety loops (to prevent the gate closing on cars), and integration with smart home systems.
What is the difference between your gates and Home Depot gates?
Store-bought gates are "bolt-together" kits made of thin, hollow metal that rattles and sags. We custom fabricate our gates using heavy-gauge structural steel and weld every joint. Our gates are built to be permanent architectural features of your home.
